Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and contribution of the Madrasah Committee in efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education in madrasas. The Madrasah Committee, as a forum for community participation in education management, has a strategic role in supporting the development of quality curriculum, facilities, and learning activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving Madrasah Committee members, teachers, and madrasah heads. The results of the study show that the Madrasah Committee plays an active role in fundraising, providing infrastructure, and implementing programs to improve the quality of Islamic learning. In addition, the Madrasah Committee is also involved in the supervision and evaluation of the educational process, which has a positive impact on improving the quality of education in madrasas. This study concludes that the involvement of the Madrasah Committee can optimally support the achievement of better educational goals, especially in the context of Islamic religious education. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for other madrasas in maximizing the role of the Madrasah Committee to improve the quality of education as a whole.
